I met an interesting guy today, Alex. He’s an Orthopedist who does brain sudry, (Yes, Sudry) and he works with United Nations.
If this picture looks familiar, its because it (and a few others, same dude) has been used since 2013 to scam women all over the world. And I had the pleasure of having a lovely chat with one of these theives. @Alex83606018 on Twitter (currently) also known as Ethan Willie on Gmail and carl.ethan/ facebook (removed) and most famously Dr Valentino Cole Smith or just Cole Smith. There may be more…
Our conversation starts off friendly and while we were chatting, between the reply wait times, I was searching his image and thats when I found that this was one of the most used pictures that romance scammers used. What really caught him out though was the fact he said he does brain sudry. What doctor says that? 😂, even so the obvious fact is what an Orthopedist does. They deal with the nervous system, spinal injurys, sports injurys. This guy may have gotten a little confused or just didn’t do some research OR..hes not even a doctor.
I only realised later on that this was 1:35 am Aussie time that I got a message. I didn’t see it till after I got up this morning as I am using an auto tweet service Twinybots as you can see from my first message. Anyone that follows me gets an instant auto reply from my bot and a link to a free trial. He answered fairly quick.
Had to dodge the marriage and kids questions as they threw me off guard at the time, thankfully he moved on to talking about his ex-wife and kids from…Zealand?!
This is where I get real,
It’s been a few hours and still no reply. I wonder if I scared him away? It may not be the same guy using these photos after being used in the past for the same scamming reasons. The Dr Valentino Cole Smith character was caught out in 2015 with the same photos scamming an Australian woman, I’m only an attempt so far lol, as I only do this to see how far they go to show people the dangers, and techniques they use to educate others and stop this from happening to vulnerable people. What if he was chatting up your teenage daughters? Telling her how sweet she was and how he thinks about her and cares about her. Keep an eye out for these fake accounts.
